In response to Page Six of the NY Post, Christie Brinkley went to Instagram to call-out the lies. Her post begins, “While much has been written over the years about me that I simply allow to roll off my back… I do stand up for my friends when things seem unfair and this is the case here… “

The two announced this week in People they’d parted after a year of dating but intended to remain good friends. They broke-up due to distance. She’s in New York, he’s in Indiana.
And as far as John not fitting in her social circles? “John has more friends and invitations to sit at fancy tables in the Hamptons than I do, and in that setting he’s very funny and charming,” she added.
